Engineering Geology

The Journal of engineering geology (JEG) is a scientific-research journal that has been published quarterly (four issues per year) since 2014 under license number 2/24329 dated 2013-11-26 from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. The  Journal of engineering geology is a peer-reviewed open-access journal published by Kharazmi University. Specifically, the journal is a scientific, open-access published quarterly, providing a platform for the rapid publication of original articles,  review articles, research notes, and technical notes in all subjects related to engineering geology, including: Engineering geology, Geotechnics (Soil mechanics and Rock mechanics), Environmental engineering, Engineering geophysics, and Hydrogeology. The journal publishes original research articles in Persian with an English abstract, as well as articles in English with a Persian abstract. The time from initial review to the start of the refereeing process ranges from three days to one week, and the average time from receipt to final assignment is two months.

Note!! The journal charges publication fee for authors, the details of which are available on this page.

Plagiarism Detection

To prevent duplicate articles being submitted and to detect plagiarism, the JEG recommends that respected authors use similarity-checking software or systems such as the Hamtajoo similarity-finding system, Iran Paper, etc., to check their article's status before submission. The JEG also employs a  double-blind peer  reviewing system to ensure high publication quality.
