Journal of Engineering Geology is a national journal devoted to publication of a peer reviewed original high quality research papers in all engineering geology topics and those of emerging science and technology. Papers in which knowledge from other disciplines is integrated with engineering geology are especially welcome like environmental engineering, geotechnics (soil mechanics and rock mechanics) and geophysics. The overall focus is on original and rigorous scientific research results which have generic significance in engineering geology. Journal of Engineering Geology is supporting open access and published in paper and electronic format. It has a triple blind peer-review process in which the reviewers and authors are unanimous. The papers are in Persian language with English abstracts and also each year, one in English language with Persian abstracts. Additionally, selected accepted papers will be printed free of cost in color in the Journal, provides gratis reprints and a complimentary journal copy.
Up to 2013, the Journal has been published every six months. However, due to increased accepted papers, in 2014 the Editor-in-Chief has requested to publish the Journal on quarterly basis. |
